Join B’nai Torah MetroWest for an online community conversation facilitated by Rabbi Emily Mathis.

Many in the Jewish community are unsettled by the rise in antisemitism, dehumanizing rhetoric, and acts of violence—across the country and closer to home. At moments like this, we are reminded of the Jewish values that guide us: caring for the vulnerable, pursuing justice, welcoming the stranger, and honoring the dignity of every person. These commitments matter most when they feel most tested.

Jewish tradition teaches that community is both a refuge and a responsibility. In challenging times, gathering together matters. B’nai Torah MetroWest invites you to join a facilitated conversation via Zoom to reflect on what we are experiencing and to consider thoughtful, constructive responses.

This will be a space to listen, share concerns, and explore how we can strengthen Jewish life while contributing positively to the broader civic life around us. This gathering is open to all who care about strengthening community, countering hatred, and supporting a healthy civic life. You do not need to have answers—just an interest in thoughtful conversation and in strengthening our community.
