Join Rabbi Emily Mathis as we mark Juneteenth, commemorating the announcement of emancipation to enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865—more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. On Friday evening, we’ll reflect on this powerful story and what it teaches us about freedom, justice, and the distance that can sometimes exist between our ideals and our lived reality.

All are welcome to join us for Shabbat, in-person and online. Contact btmoffice@bnaitorahmetrowest.org with questions.
