Each year, Mosaic: Interfaith Youth Action brings together youth and families from across Greater Boston to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a day of service, dialogue, and interfaith learning.
This year’s event, “Addressing the Impact of Gun Violence,” will focus on the urgent need for healing, understanding, and collective action. Participants will engage in a day designed to inspire reflection and empower change through:
- A panel discussion with community members serving those impacted by gun violence
- Small group dialogue circles exploring Dr. King’s teachings on justice, peace, and the beloved community
- An advocacy workshop helping youth develop tools to raise their voices for change
- A service project assembling care bags for individuals and families impacted by gun violence
Together, we will honor Dr. King’s vision by transforming compassion into action and building bridges of understanding across communities of faith, culture, and background.
