Join us in the Chapel room at Kehillath Israel to hear from representatives from the Israeli organization Olim Beyahad, which assists Ethiopian Israeli university graduates in assimilating into the forefront of Israel’s workforce, while receiving mentoring and leadership development training.

Olim Beyahad primarily focuses on workplace training for Ethiopian Israeli University graduates in Israel. Ethiopians statistically have a harder time finding employment, and Olim Beyahad has helped to train immigrants to reverse that trend. Olim Beyahad provides a range of different programs to provide graduates with vital work-related and life skills and actively assist them to find suitable employment. At the same time they activate an extensive network of hundreds of dedicated volunteers and employers, who serve as mentors, hire graduates and help them build professional careers in leading companies. Over 830 Ethiopian Israeli university graduates have completed the organization’s programs, and 87% of them have integrated into suitable employment.

Sigal Kanotopsky, CEO of the Olim Beyahad, will provide an interesting perspective about the Ethiopian Israeli community living in Israel and the progress that has been made better integrating this community into Israeli society over the last several years.
