The Cantor-Plex Film Festival presents “Monsieur Ibrahim and the Flowers of the Quran,” part of this year’s festival with the theme of “From the Four Corners of the Earth.” Through film and conversation, Cantor Michael McCloskey and Dr. Ray Feller will explore the diversity of the Jewish people and examine the ways in which Jewish people have influenced the culture in which they are immersed and are influenced by that culture.

Tonight’s film is set in 1960’s Paris and is about the friendship between a Jewish boy and Muslim shopkeeper. Refreshments will be provided. Discussion of the film will follow.
