Come join us for lots of fun this summer! Camp Kaleidoscope presents boys and girls in grades 9-11 with opportunities to make friends, learn new skills, stay active and nurture their inner artists as CITs (Counselors-in-Training).

CITs entering spend approximately half the day helping around camp and half the day in classes of their choice. The CIT program is limited to 18 participants and requires an additional application and an interview. They attend for a minimum of one four-week session.

CITs may assist with the youngest bunks, help specialists in classes, serve lunch, prepare snacks, or organize activities. Each Wednesday they meet together for a planning meeting or a workshop. Workshops may include child development, working with children with special needs, bullying, financial literacy, etc. CITs are responsible for our mitzvah (social action) project each summer and run the carnival on the last day of each session.

CITs choose electives every two weeks in theater, art, music, science, video, cooking, sports, swimming and boating. The Upper Camp musical is also open to CITs. The musical rehearses every morning for four weeks. Each four-week session culminates in Arts Night, where campers share their art and science projects, and perform for the parents.

Camp dates are June 24 – August 16. Regular hours are 9 a.m. – 4.p.m, with extended day from 8 a.m. – 5:45 p.m. There is no charge for early drop off or extended day for CITs.

We offer transportation from Brookline, Cambridge, Jamaica Plain, Framingham and Wayland. Learn more here.
