This Sunday we will come together as a community from across the Greater Boston area and from across religious and political spectra to observe Tisha B’Av. On this day of mourning for historic Jewish tragedies, we will also mourn the tragedies we endured on and since October 7, and we will continue to remind the world that, for the hostages and their families, every day is Tisha B’Av.
We will start at our usual Run For Their Lives location in the Newton Centre Green with a short ceremony and walk. This will be followed by film screenings during the afternoon.
Film screening times are as follows:
- 12 p.m.: “Screams Before Silence”
- 1:30 p.m.: “We Will Dance Again”
- 3:30 p.m.: “October H8te”
