When the nights get colder and darker, we can warm them up together with dance! Join master musician Zach Mayer for an Electronic Jerusalem ecstatic dance party! Electronic Jerusalem is Zach’s NEW project, incorporating the sounds and rhythms he collected while studying Middle Eastern classical music in Jerusalem, into modern electronic dance music. It’s pulsing; it’s ecstatic dance/trance. Imagine a shuk of music! Performed live with synthesizer and saxophone.

About Zach: “Zachary is one of the top Jewish instrumentalists and singers of his generation. He is also a high-level pianist, saxophonist, arranger, composer and improviser who has already contributed wonderful original nigunim to the contemporary canon. His warm personality and compelling spiritual presence has enabled him to rise to the top as a leading figure in the contemporary resurgence of Jewish music,” said Dr. Hankus Netsky, Chair of Contemporary Improvisation at the New England Conservatory.
