Kerem Shalom of Concord invites the community to join us for a summer lay-led Erev Shabbat with Kerem Shalom member Mary Plotkin.
At sundown on August 7, we enter Shabbat Re’eh. It’s the last Shabbat before the month of Elul begins, ushering in the season of the High Holy Days. Re’eh, the first word of the weekly Torah portion, means “See!” Moses reminds the Israelites of God’s commandments and urges them to look closely at the sort of life they want. We are constantly faced with choices. Will we do what we know in our hearts to be right? Join us in the coolness of Kerem Shalom’s Sanctuary, or online, for an evening of song, prayer, and warm community, and perhaps some conversation about what exactly makes a good life.
