Finding Your Voice: Chanting Torah

Have you ever thought about learning how to chant Torah? If you already have some basic skills, would you like to sharpen your ability? Join CBE’s Cantor Sarra Spierer for an introduction to Torah trope and a deeper understanding of the art of Torah reading. While no singing or previous experience is needed, a basic ability to read Hebrew is required. We will be using the book “Chanting the Hebrew Bible: Student Edition” by professor Joshua Jacobson.

Course dates: Oct. 17 and 24, Nov. 7, 14 and 28, and Dec. 5.

This class is free for congregants and $60 for non-congregants. The course book is $18.
