Experience the woods, fields and river by the light of the full Sap Moon for a unique and peaceful experience of welcoming Shabbat. With the sun setting in one direction and the full moon rising in the other, we’ll enjoy the sights and sounds of nature in the evening on a leisurely walk across the meadow to the Sudbury River led by Rabbi Katy Allen.

Children and adults of all ages and spiritual traditions are welcome, and you are invited to bring a poem, story or song about the moon, spring, the river or Shabbat. This is a great opportunity to get outside, share the joys of nature in the evening and have your spirit revived. The walk will last about 75 minutes.

This program is presented in cooperation with the Sudbury Valley Trustees and is supported by Combined Jewish Philanthropies and the Sudbury, Assabet and Concord Wild and Scenic River Stewardship Council.
