Join B’nai Torah MetroWest of Wayland and Cantor Kate Judd for a warm, welcoming, tuneful Friday night service to greet Shabbat HaChodesh—the Shabbat before the beginning of the month of Nissan. Nissan brings spring and Passover. This hour-long service will include songs and prayers from the Kabbalat Shabbat and the Arvit (Evening) service, with special Passover tunes and a brief reflection on the laws and history of Passover.

We continue to offer special prayers for the war between Israel and Hamas. Cantor Kate’s sermon will reflect on Aaron’s grief at the loss of his sons Aaron and Avihu, and the larger question: How do we grieve?

In-person and streaming.
