Enjoy a walk through the woods and fields and along the river by the light of the moon. Led by Rabbi Katy Allen of Ma’yan Tikvah, we’ll discover and appreciate the magic of being outdoors at night as we welcome Shabbat, the Jewish Sabbath, and take time to slow down, allow ourselves to rest, and enjoy the winter night.
Dress for the weather and conditions. This walk is open and welcoming to people of all faiths and ages, and you are invited to bring a favorite story, song, or poem about the moon, winter, or taking time to slow down.
