Are your Hebrew skills good but not as good as you would like? Are you looking to improve your Hebrew while meeting some awesome new friends? Join the IAC young professionals Hebrewing class! This is an engaging Hebrew class combined with a language and culture exchange between native Hebrew speakers and learners.

The program includes a weekly advanced-level Hebrew lesson (one hour), after which you can join us for a drink at a nearby pub together with fluent Hebrew-speaking young professionals and practice your new conversation skills over a glass of beer or wine.

Learn Hebrew as if you were in Israel! (Minus the weather…sorry.)

The class takes place every Thursday from 7:30-9:30 p.m. for 10 weeks.

Is this class for me?

This class is designed for learners who already feel comfortable conversing in Hebrew, but would like to become more fluent and sophisticated communicators.

What will you learn?

You will learn present-day spoken Hebrew, including vocabulary, grammar, slang, common phrases and expressions. While the focus is on conversation, reading and writing will be incorporated as well.

Israelis and native Hebrew speakers:

If you are a fluent Hebrew speaker, join us at the pub ($5 per gathering for a drink and light refreshments) for a chance to meet other young professionals from the local community and share experiences in Hebrew. It will be a great way to connect with new people and help them improve their language skills while sharing your Israeli stories.
