JALSA Tzedek Salon Summertime Picnic

July 27, 2015

UPDATE: Due to possible inclement weather, we are moving our picnic indoors. We will still have snacks, trivia, and mingling. We are now holding the event at the JALSA office at 18 Tremont Street in Boston. This is a few blocks north of the Park Street T Stop, right before the Government Centre T Stop. Please call with any questions at 617-227-3000 or email jalsaoffice@gmail.com. We hope to see you tonight!

It’s finally summertime and JALSA is headed outside! Join us for a Tzedek Salon picnic as we relax, schmooze, and network right on the Common.

Bring a potluck snack or munchie to share. We’ll have drinks and blankets but feel free to bring your own sheet or blanket.

Come one, come all! This event will be a great opportunity to learn more about the work of JALSA and meet other young professionals who are interested in important policy and social justice issues. Friends absolutely welcome!

Where: Boston Common, Robert Gould Shaw Memorial (pictured above), at the intersection of Beacon Street and Park Street, opposite the State House.

When: Monday, July 27 from 6:00-7:30, weather permitting. If it rains, we will be rescheduling this event. If the weather looks “iffy” on Monday, July 27th, please call the JALSA Office at 617-227-3000 to see if the picnic will still be held. If we decide to reschedule, we will notify you of changes by email.

Tzedek Salons bring young people, in their 20-30s, and social activists together with important policy makers, attorneys and academics for casual conversations at local bars to explore cutting edge issues facing our society and state today.

JALSA Mission Statement:
