The Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action (JALSA) invites you to our October Salon in the Suburbs with MTA President, Barbara Madeloni. Ms. Madeloni is a long time education activist, with a focus around addressing the negative influences of corporate interests in public education. She has been particularly vocal around standardized testing and the disparity in education for students along lines of race and socio-economics.
Tonight, she will be talking about her current fight for public education and its connection to the Raise Up Massachusetts Fair Share Campaign- a grassroots effort for additional funding to public education.
Event Location: The Social Restaurant and Bar
The Social Restaurant and Bar Crowne Plaza, 320 Washington Street, Newton Corner, Newton, MA, 02458
* Registration closes on October 19th
