JCRC’s ReachOut! Spring 2016: Sneak Peek into Twelve Weeks

January 26, 2016

JCRC’s ReachOut! presents the opportunity to volunteer across greater Boston, and to build community through shared learning and Jewish experiences. Join other young professionals in their 20s and 30s and make an impact! ReachOut! is happy to offer a sneak peek into two of our sites:

Tuesday Meals Program at First Parish Cambridge
Tuesday, January 26th, 5:15-7pm

Intergenerational Conversations at Hebrew SeniorLife
Wednesday, February 10th, 6:30-7:30pm

Come volunteer, test out one of our opportunities and learn about what you can expect through the ReachOut! program. Sign up today as space is limited. Have a question? Don’t hestiate to be in touch with Tracy Getselman at tgetselman@jcrcboston.org

ReachOut! traditionally runs for 12 weeks at a time. You and a small group of your peers work with one of our partner sites one evening a week for said 12 weeks. We have a wide variety of community service opportunities available, ranging from working with teens, spending time with seniors, helping the homeless, and providing adult education. In addition to service work, you will have the chance to get to know your fellow participants through two Shabbat dinners and a social event.

Event Location: Cambridge and Brookline
Boston, Massachusetts, 02110
