Yom Kippur

Yom Kippur, which begins at sundown on Friday, September 29, 2017, means “Day of Atonement” and refers to the annual observance of fasting, prayer and repentance. Part of the High Holidays, which also includes Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur is considered Judaism’s holiest day.
