Inviting all experienced knitters or crocheters to join us during our weekly drop-in knitting group to knit a stuffed animal (or hat) that we will donate to The Italian Home in Jamaica Plain. The Italian Home for Children provides residential and day programs for children ages 3–20 who are experiencing significant behavioral, emotional, or social challenges.
Avid knitter Amy McLoughlin will lead the project and provide assistance. Bring your own knitting needles or crochet hook, yarn and pattern, or select from several patterns that Amy will have on hand for you to use. If you are unable to join in person, no worries! Email adultprog@jccgb.org, and we’ll share the donation drop-off details. All are welcome. Geared toward adults.
