Antisemitism has been dubbed the “longest hatred.” And, indeed, it is rooted in long-standing language and tropes. Yet in recent years it has reared its head in new and expanded ways. In this Connect & Learn, explore important historical vignettes, then consider what we can learn from history as we seek to better understand and respond to antisemitism today.

Presented by Spertus Institute and JPro Chicago, Connect & Learn is an online, community-building, professional development series. Connect & Learn workshops offer professionals from Jewish organizations around the world a chance to join Spertus students and alumni for lively sessions on topics key to Jewish life today.

Spertus president & CEO Dr. Dean P. Bell kicks off this year’s series. Dr. Bell served as associate editor of the two-volume “Antisemitism: A Historical Encyclopedia of Prejudice and Persecution.”
