We know that choosing a preschool for your child is a very important decision for the entire family. Nothing takes the place of a personal visit. Come see for yourself the warm sense of community that is the hallmark of the Temple Emanuel Preschool and what makes us a favorite in Newton!

The Temple Emanuel Preschool (ages 15 months to 5 years) prides itself on offering a quality, nurturing and dynamic learning environment for children. Our program believes in meeting children where they are and using thematic curriculum that is age-appropriate and meaningful. We use hands-on and project-based learning as a model to teach and encourage children to be prepared to “get messy and have fun”! Our curriculum has academic components but also time for social and emotional growth and development. Kindness is a hallmark of our program, and teaching kindness is important to us.

As the only Conservative synagogue in Newton with a preschool, we are fully committed to a Judaica program that helps children learn about the Jewish part of their world and life. The customs and traditions of Shabbat and the holidays are experienced through the young child’s senses. Family participation is encouraged. An atmosphere of belonging is created, through which the children and their families experience the joyfulness of Judaism.
