Alan Stein is the founder of PRIMER-Massachusetts and PRIMER-Israel (Promoting Responsibility in Middle East Reporting) and was honored as CAMERA (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America) Letter Writer of the Year in 2015. His goal is to affirm the truth that anti-Zionists find inconvenient. Anti-Zionists understand the sad truth that a huge lie repeated often enough is accepted as truth. They have mainstreamed inaccurate terms such as “1967 borders” and “occupied territory.” These and other lies are repeated so often they have become “conventional wisdom.” Alan will set the record straight.
Alan served as president of the Jewish Federation of Waterbury, CT. He edited its newspaper, which was honored by the Council of Jewish Federations for coverage of a mission he helped lead to refuseniks in the former Soviet Union. Alan also served as an officer for the Jewish Federation Association of CT and as co-chair of the Media Subcommittee of the Israel Task Force for the Anti-Defamation League in CT. He splits his time between Netanya, Israel, and Natick, MA.
