At this workshop, facilitated by Rachie Lewis of Jewish Community Relations Council, we will explore what it means for us as a community to be part of the growing Sanctuary/Solidarity Network.
Sanctuary refers specifically to protecting immigrants and those in danger of deportation, while Solidarity refers to standing as one with all who are vulnerable. In the spirit of the SJBM, we will begin with brief learning, followed by Rachie’s presentation and shared discussion. Joined in common concern, we gather in solidarity with each other as well as with all who are vulnerable.
