Our ongoing lab for Shabbat morning practice—experimental, joyful. This week, we’re going to study some Zohar with Matt Ponak, our rabbinic intern! Come ready to engage with the text in Daniel Matt’s poetic English translation and let the meaning seep into your soul. No prior experience in Zohar or Kabbalah necessary. Instrument-free niggunim will highly likely be sung.

Please bring a veggie dish to share, with a label describing the dish’s ingredients. If you bring cheese, please make sure it uses vegetarian rennet. We’ll provide challah and kiddush wine/juice. Feel free to bring additional beverages.

We are meeting in Rabbi David’s living room (or an ADA compliant location, if necessary) in Union Square. Please RSVP to receive address. The apartment is up one flight of stairs without ADA-compliant alternatives. If you would like to join us and you need accommodations, please let us know when you RSVP, and we will adjust accordingly.
