These days, many Jews find themselves on the front lines of the struggle for justice and fairness. But our current national moment is far from the first time that Jews have stood up for their principles. Jewish resistance has taken many forms throughout history.

Join Rabbi Michael Rothbaum as he looks at Jewish expressions of resistance, both in text and history. Our study will culminate in the creation of our own statements of Jewish resistance as we celebrate Chanukah, the Jewish festival of resistance.

The class will meet Wednesdays, Nov. 29 and Dec. 6, 13 and 20.

Please register by Nov. 24 by contacting Ezra Habif in the synagogue office at 978-263-3061 or ehabif@bethelohim.org.

Congregation Beth Elohim is committed to creating an open and welcoming environment for Jews of all ages and varying degrees of religious observance. For more information on Congregation Beth Elohim, visit bethelohim.org.
