Who is the most Jewish Jedi? Join Asiyah’s rabbinic intern, Matt Ponak, as he prepares for the little-known Jewish Jedi holiday of May the Fourth with morning movement and learning.

We’ll start with some slow breathing and Tai Chi forms and follow that with learning about the Torah of “Star Wars.” What is the Force? What is the Dark Side? In what ways are Yoda’s words of wisdom resonant with Jewish teaching? We’ll explore these questions and more by reading the sacred texts of Judaism and Jedi. And we’ll wrap it all up with kiddush.
