The Zuckerberg Institute for Water Research at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev under Professor Adar’s direction plays a central role in increasing Israel’s leadership in addressing global water scarcity challenges. Professor Adar represents Israel around the world, speaking about cutting edge innovations in water technologies developed at Ben-Gurion University. He is an expert in Middle East water issues and has been instrumental in bringing together scientists from Israel and its neighbors to collaborate on the region’s water challenges. He served as Israel’s leading water consultant in its 1994 peace treaty with Jordan.
