Torah Hub- Exploring the Dream World

January 30, 2014 0

“A dream that has not been interpreted is like a letter
that has not been read” – Rav Chisda, Talmud Bavli

In Jewish life dreams are very important, from the
Biblical visions of our ancestors through Frued.
Whether we think our dreams arise from our
subconscious or from God, they offer an unparalleled
opportunity to learn about our mysterious inner
worlds, about the nature of our consciousness, and
about our daily lives. Despite their power, we often
don’t “open” our dreams, but just ignore them.

Join Rabbi Aaron Fine for a personal and intellectual
exploration of dreams. Participants will be required to
keep a dream journal during the course. Class will be
a mix of exploring our own dreams and learning about
dreaming from the Torah, the Talmud and contemporary
sources. It’s going to be fun!

Event Location: JCC of the North Shore
4 Community Rd., Marblehead, Massachusetts, 01945
