We’ll honor leaders in the areas of economic and racial justice, affordable housing and immigration.
It’s a difficult year for those of us who care deeply about justice. COVID-19 and the murder of George Floyd have brought many issues of structural racism and systemic inequality to the surface. JALSA is responding to the urgent needs of those most vulnerable in our society: low-income workers losing jobs, immigrants scared to seek health care, those who are hungry and housing insecure and racial minorities targeted by bigotry.
