The Chabad Center of Sudbury invites you to a series of lectures with our scholar-in-residence and world-renowned lecturer Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe, who will be spending a Shabbat with us in mid-November.

Join us for a Friday evening Shabbat dinner and lecture, entitled “Where Goes the World,” for an enjoyable, memorable and meaningful evening. In the lecture Rabbi Yaffe will present the kabbalah of hope and perspective in an era of scientific innovation, climate change, global security challenges and economic changes.

We will be having a traditional, delicious, three-course dinner as part of the evening.

Rabbi Shlomo Yaffe is Rabbi of Congregation B’nai Torah in Springfield/Longmeadow, MA, and Dean of the Institute of American and Talmudic Law based in New York, NY.

Rabbi Yaffe has lectured, led seminars, and taught continuing legal education programs, in person and online, throughout North America, as well as in Africa, Australia, Latin America, and Europe.

A focus of Rabbi Yaffe’s work has been the intersection of the concerns created by contemporary legal, scientific, medical, public and foreign policy issues with the ethics and values presented in three-and-a-half millennia of Judaic law and thought.
