Guest Speaker: Gertrud Brenner, Resident of the Simon C. Fireman Community.

Born in Vienna, at age 15 she went to Palestine with a Youth Group which was put together by Henrietta Szold. Mrs. Brenner became a nurse at the Hadassah Hospital in Tel Aviv, Israel. She was the only nurse at Atlit Camp where boatloads of concentration camp survivors were brought secretly so that the British couldn’t send them back. Come listen to her story.
