Bring your tots and join us at The Interfaith Garden, across from The Lexington Green, for planting, harvesting, and playing!
The Lexington Interfaith Garden is now in its 8th year of growing and distributing food via the Lexington Food Pantry. Our work involves planting, weeding, and harvesting, all done under the direction of our expert head gardener, so no gardening knowledge is needed, but you must be willing to get your hands dirty! There is also a playground on-site for kids who want to take a break from planting.
This program is free and open to all families with young children, but please RSVP in advance to Jodie Parmer (click “Go) if you think you might attend.
Parking is in the lot behind the First Parish Church, 7 Harrington Road, Lexington.
