The K’ilu Company is partnering with Temple Isaiah of Lexington and Temple Shalom of Newton to bring the Ark Adventures program to Greater Boston.
Ark Adventures sparks Jewish discovery through immersive theater and imaginative play. Ark Adventures transforms Shabbat into a multi-sensory journey using live music, puppetry, and theatrical design.
Children and families “board” the ark and imagine sailing across the water to celebrate Shabbat together, led by a team of welcoming adventure guides and their animal friends. When the rain stops, the dove is sent out of the ark and returns with the Torah, bringing the week’s story to explore. Finally, the ark “travels back home” to find a rainbow and welcome in the new week.
