Solidarity Shabbat

Last Saturday, our day of peace was desecrated by an act of anti-Semitic hatred. This week, we will reclaim Shabbat in the name of love. In the wake of the horrific tragedy in Pittsburgh at the Tree of Life Congregation, synagogues across the nation will observe a special “Solidarity Shabbat,” coming together across denominations to pray, to mourn and to draw strength from each other. Spending Shabbat in a synagogue is a powerful sign of Jewish resilience and a tribute to the 11 innocent lives taken from us this past weekend.
