Last Shabbat, we witnessed the deadliest act of anti-Semitism in North American history—the attack at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. This Friday and Saturday, Nov. 2-3, the Greater Boston Jewish community is joining with federations and partner organizations across the continent for a Solidarity Shabbat supporting the Jewish community of Pittsburgh.

You can find solidarity at a synagogue near you or visit the following synagogues featuring programs for young adults:

We welcome people of all faiths to join this show of resilience, remembrance and love.

CJP, in partnership with local clergy, invites congregations and those wishing to participate in other places to sing Eitz Chayim Hi or Tree of Life to further connect us as a community.

For congregations, clergy and individuals who want to promote this event, CJP has a variety of materials, including digital banners and social media posts. We also ask you to encourage friends and family to spread the word.

This initiative has been developed by JFNA. CJP is partnering with JCRC, Massachusetts Board of Rabbis, the Synagogue Council and congregations to promote this Solidarity Shabbat throughout Greater Boston.
