When my wife, Shemariah, and I started Robariah Farms in 2010, we set out to prove something simple: that families could have meat that was genuinely local, genuinely pasture-raised, and genuinely kosher. Not one of those things. All three.

Kashrut has been a deeply local practice for thousands of years, but industrial meat production severed that connection, from the land, from the animal, from the community. We built our farm to restore it.

“At last, kosher meat done the way you always hoped it could be!”
– John, Northampton, MA

For the past decade, that meant developing the kosher infrastructure, farm expertise, and community buy-in that would be the foundation of our farm. That foundation let us serve families close to home, but it left everyone else, families further out across New England who wanted the same thing, without a way to actually get it.

That changes this month.

A delivery program built for our community

Robariah Farms is launching a home delivery program that brings our pasture-raised, certified glatt-kosher (OU) meat and eggs directly to doorsteps across New England, including here in Greater Boston. We deliver on our own routes, in our own refrigerated vehicle, with no carrier shipping costs, no excess packaging waste, and no distributor standing between our farm and your table.

“The chicken from Robariah Farms is undoubtedly
the most delicious chicken I’ve ever had.”
– Esther, Somerville, MA

Our East Route reaches the Boston area on the first Wednesday of every month, running through Worcester, MetroWest, Greater Boston, the South Shore, and Providence. Our first Boston-area delivery is Oct. 7. Orders must be placed by Oct. 5.

Regenerative farming at the center

Our heritage-derived chickens live on open pasture in the Connecticut River Valley, rotated daily to fresh grass as part of our regenerative farming practices, a way of farming that rebuilds soil health and gives every animal a quality of life industrial poultry farming simply doesn’t offer. This isn’t a marketing term for us. It’s how we’ve farmed since the beginning, and I’m also a certified shochet, which is part of how seriously we take doing this the right way, from pasture to processing.

“Proud to support both our local community and ethical, sustainable farming practices. Robariah Farms is one of the hidden gems of Massachusetts!”
– David, Northampton, MA

Why this matters beyond kosher

You don’t have to keep kosher to care about pasture-raised farming, regenerative land practices, or knowing the farm your food actually comes from. But for kosher-observant families across Greater Boston who’ve spent years choosing between local and kosher, between ethical and industrial, this program is especially for you. You shouldn’t have to make that choice. We built this farm so you don’t have to, and now we’re bringing it to your door.
