Join us for a unique, dynamic, and interactive afternoon of learning with noted author, Rabbi Anne Brener of Los Angeles. Rabbi Brener is an inspiring teacher who will lead participants to a greater level of understanding and fulfillment in our caring community work. We will refine our skills for reaching out to those in need in our community and gain a deeper understanding of Jewish teachings on the mitzvah of caring and the qualities of connection, comfort, and compassion.

Rabbi Brener is the noted author of the acclaimed Mourning & Mitzvah: A Guided Journal for Walking the Mourner’s Path Through Grief to Healing and a contributor to many books on Jewish spirituality and healing. Rabbi Brener is also a psychotherapist, spiritual director, and frequent scholar-in-residence who has assisted communities world-wide from Israel to Africa to Brazil in creating caring communities.
