Four holidays per year, and roughly once a month on Friday evening for Shabbat, JF&CS CHAI Disability Services hosts a Shabbat or holiday celebration for adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or mental health conditions.
These events help foster social connection and community engagement for people with disabilities and mental health challenges. Participants enjoy the company of their peers and a meaningful connection to Jewish tradition and the Jewish community.
Open to volunteers on a one-time or regular basis.
