Kerem Shalom of Concord is pleased to announce that registration for Hebrew School Reimagined 2021-2022 is now open, and we’re making plans to meet safely in person!

Programs include holiday preschool, kindergarten, Hebrew school for grades 1-6 and cohort-based learning for seventh grade. Our dynamic, redesigned curriculum focuses on active, experiential learning, with an emphasis on individualized learning for all students. Grades 1-4 will experience Hebrew Through Movement, a joyful, kinesthetic, playful method of sound-to-print learning. Grade 3-6 students will participate in exciting interest-based electives, and grades 5-6 will have one-on-one Hebrew lessons.

Hebrew School Reimagined gives students a fundamental knowledge base of Jewish tradition, in addition to a sense of identity and appreciation for the importance of Jewish life in the community. The curriculum is designed to build a culture of learning by doing, foster spirituality and focus on participants’ individual paths. And at the heart of our program are Kerem Shalom’s core values—kehillah (community), simchah (joy) and k’vod ha-b’riyot (respect for the dignity of every person).

For teens in grades 8-12, Kerem Shalom is also a proud partner congregation in J-LOFT (Jewish Learning Opportunities for Teens). This is a shared space for Jewish high school students from seven MetroWest synagogues, in which they can learn, act and celebrate as a unified teen community.

Hebrew School Reimagined registration is committed to keeping costs affordable for our families. Contact learning@keremshalom.org or 978-371-0540 to learn more or register for the fall. See keremshalom.org for further details on Kerem Shalom and all youth learning programs.

Kerem Shalom, located at 659 Elm St. in Concord, is a vibrant, diverse and welcoming Jewish community where tradition and innovation are celebrated.
