For those of you who were not able to attend our Seas the Dream event on Sunday May 1st: Lawrence Lowenthal, Ph.D., one of the night’s honorees, gave a poignant and impassioned speech on behalf of himself and his fellow honorees, Fran and David Elovitz and their family.

We were so moved by Larry’s speech that we would like to share it with the JewishBoston.com community. Please take the time to read and reflect on his wise words. There is much to be done in every community to make a more just world. As citizens and as Jews, we should feel a certain level of responsibility to do what we can to ease the suffering of others and give what we can, where we can, when we can.
