This past weekend we visited Masada and the Dead Sea as a group. It was so interesting learning about the story of Masada, especially from the lens of our guide. Onward did an amazing job of choosing an exuberant guide who ignited meaningful conversation and prompted difficult questions. The guide made the experience much more enjoyable than had I gone to visit alone. Meanwhile, at the Dead Sea down the road, we covered every inch of skin in mud for an au natural spa experience. My friends and I took fun pictures floating in the water, making sure not to splash or get the salt water in our eyes. But, truthfully, the salt from nonstop sweating burned my eyes more than anything!

The last two weekends were fun-filled, packed, and exciting! Now, as I write this blog, I am four weeks into the trip and four weeks away from going home. As much as four weeks sound like a long time, I know it will fly by much faster than I’d like them to. So, the exploring certainly won’t slow down!
