Jacob Aizanman is a junior at Marblehead High School, where he plays golf, hockey and tennis. He is a member of the community at Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead, enjoys all sports and loves to meet new people.

Tamar Arons-Brann

Tamar Arons-Brann is a sophomore at Newton North High School, where she is a member of the school orchestra and Girls Who Code. Tamar is part of the community at Congregation Dorshei Tzedek in Newton, enjoys playing violin, dancing and spending time with friends and family.

Ellie Black is a sophomore at Dana Hall, where she is involved in Kesher and enjoys dancing and playing field hockey. Ellie is a member of Temple Shalom in Newton, volunteers for Jewish Family Service of Metrowest and is very excited to meet new people.

Jordan Book

Jordan Book is a senior at Framingham High School, where he is involved in cross-country, ski team and track. He enjoys baseball and solving the Rubik’s cube. Jordan is a member of Temple Beth Am in Framingham and spends his summers at Camp Tel Noar. One interesting thing about him is that he is both a mountain biker and skier.

Aviva Bornstein

Aviva Bornstein is a sophomore at Marblehead High School, where she is involved with Best Buddies, Interact Club and Team Harmony. She enjoys playing on her school’s field hockey, volleyball, track and tennis teams. Aviva is a member of Temple Emanu-El in Marblehead and spends her summers at Camp Tevya.

Jeremy Cohen is a senior at the Boston Latin School, where he is involved in the Jewish Club and Dress for Success Club. Jeremy enjoys playing basketball, baseball and football. He is a member of Temple Israel of Boston and spends his summers at Camp Kingswood in Maine. He’s always been known for being super organized, and he even used to make personalized schedules for himself and his friends.

Jada Cohen

Jada Cohen is a sophomore at Gann Academy, where she is involved as a student ambassador, the founder of Senior Connections Club and plays ultimate frisbee and volleyball. Jada loves to competitively swim and babysit. She is a member of Shaarei Tefillah in Newton, has spent the last five summers at Camp Yavneh and loves to connect with people of all backgrounds.

Teddy Friedman

Teddy Friedman is a freshman at Gann Academy. Teddy enjoys playing and listening to music, is the bassist in Air Society and enjoys playing and watching sports. His favorite sport is baseball but he will happily talk about any sports. Teddy is a member of Temple Beth Elohim in Wellesley and spent the summer in Israel.

Leah Koritz is a senior at Gann Academy, where she writes for a newspaper and literary magazine and is involved with Girls Who Code. She enjoys writing, hiking and playing soccer and softball. Leah is a member of Temple Beth Shalom in Needham and is so excited for her third year as a Jewish Teen Initiative Peer Leadership Fellow.

Ellie Levine is a sophomore at Swampscott High School, where she is a member of the cheer team. Ellie has been a competitive gymnast for the past nine years and loves to read a good book or watch an addictive TV series. She is a member and madricha (teaching assistant) at Temple Shirat Hayam in Swampscott and has spent her summers at Camp Tevya. Ellie is an active member in the Jewish community and, as N’siah of her BBYO chapter, she loves to include everyone in all of the exciting opportunities nearby.

Shira Lobron is a sophomore at Newton North High School, where she is involved in her school’s newspaper, theater program and climate collective club. Shira likes to ski, play soccer and tennis and is a member of Temple Shalom of Newton. She spends her summers at Camp Ramah New England and enjoys caring for her pet rabbit, Buzz.
