New England Yachad’s Young Adult Adventure Club teamed up with our friends at Waypoint Adventures for a day of kayaking on the Charles River.

Before embarking on the water, we gathered in a circle for a welcome activity, discussing what we all wanted to get out of our day of kayaking.

We were all really excited to meet our kayaking partners! We then went over how to paddle and safety tips, before gearing up with our life jackets.

Our adventurers included both experienced boaters and newcomers, and everyone had a blast.

“I liked kayaking,” said participant Neri Avraham, who had also joined us last year.

Our day included a picnic lunch, and the session was concluded with a closing circle. We can’t wait to see our Waypoint friends again at our next adventure, outdoor rock climbing on Sept. 10! Please join us and register here.
