Maccabee Bar, Boston’s Hanukkah pop-up bar, is back for its eighth year of celebrating a different side of the season. Eight is a big deal for a Hanukkah-themed bar, so this year, to mark the occasion, we’re rolling out extra-special events all season long—think Hanukkah trivia, prix-fixe dinners and plenty of surprises.

Maccabee Bar pops up once again at Noir Bar in Cambridge, kicking off right after Thanksgiving and running through New Year’s Eve. We’ll be bringing our Hanukkah magic back to life with festive décor, cheeky cocktails, classic bites and lots of holiday chutzpah.

This year’s cocktails include old favorites like the sufganiyot-inspired “Hebrew Hammer” (vodka, “leavened” sugar, raspberry, lemon), as well as brand-new concoctions, such as the Moroccan tropical “Marrakitsch” (rum, sweet potato, cinnamon, wheat berry orgeat, lime). Noshes will
include special snacks from Noir’s kitchen (including latkes, of course!), as well as house-made jelly doughnuts.
