I hope your 2020 is off to a great start. I want to thank everyone who has been involved in any of our co-working days, community of practice learnings or networking opportunities so far, and I’m very much looking forward to the remainder of the year.

For those who have joined us, I would love to hear feedback on your experiences. What reflections can you share? How can we improve future gatherings, networking opportunities and programming? Please email me with any of your takeaways and suggestions.

If you haven’t taken advantage of our offerings, or are looking to get more involved, we still have many great opportunities coming up! Check out our calendar with our plans for the remainder of the year.

As I mentioned in October, there are several areas where we are focusing our investment this year that your organization and teens in the community can access:

Professional Development

Co-working: Our monthly co-working days have been a highlight of our time together so far this year. Check out some photos from our very successful Jan. 16 session! This is a chance to network and learn informally with colleagues. All are welcome to join for any part of the day.

Stipends for professional development: Apply for growth opportunities offered locally or nationally, and receive up to $1,800—open to professionals working directly with teens.

Mentoring/coaching: One-on-one series for staff who are new to the field or at a point of professional transition.

We also provide strategic grants aimed at building capacity and innovation among our community partners, as well as providing support to families for Jewish Overnight Camping and Israel Teen Travel.

I look forward to receiving your feedback if you have attended any of our events in the past few months, and seeing you at our upcoming opportunities.
