It’s been a year since the pandemic took over and disrupted so much of our daily lives. Thanks to CJP’s generous donors and the commitment made from dedicated partner organizations, the community has come together to give to others, to provide support, to share comfort, and to innovate on problems we’d never before faced, which we’ve captured in our new e-book, “We Were Made for This Moment.”

You’ll see how we delivered more than 5,700 Passover seder meals, helping families maintain a cherished tradition.

We provided funds that helped Hebrew SeniorLife secure personal protective equipment and other supplies used to keep their residents and staff safe.

Our “Friday Night Lights” became a weekly Zoom tradition where we could see familiar faces and hear words of courage and hope, all while lighting Shabbat candles together.

As we look back at how our Jewish community responded to the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, we were inspired at all our community has accomplished, and we learned valuable lessons.

We learned that if you want to see how generous people can be, wait until resources are stretched thin, and the economic outlook is uncertain. To see how innovative our partner organizations can be, wait until every aspect of our lives gets turned upside down. To see how much Jewish community means to all of us, at every age, we hope you’ll take a quick flip back through “We Were Made for This Moment.”

CJP continues to mobilize resources here at home and around the world. Please join us as we make a bigger difference together. Give today.
