Hiking

Come join the Boston Israel Group and the Tremont Street Shul 20s & 30s Group as we go hiking in the Fells. Why drive several hours somewhere in New Hampshire or Maine, when we can hike in the fells in our backyard in Medford?! We will meet at the Bellevue Pond Parking Lot at approximately 11:00 AM and begin the hike promptly at 11:30 AM.

REGISTRATION: Please sign up by noon on Thursday, Aug. 18. We’ll send confirmations and carpooling arrangements on Thursday evening.

MORE DETAILS: The hike will be 4-5 miles and take approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. You should bring water, sunscreen, a picnic lunch, and appropriate hiking shoes (boots should be fine). For more information on the Fells, see http://www.friendsofthefells.org/trails/. While the park is in Medford, it is not the easiest to get to by public transportation. The 94 and 100 buses do go close by. Carpoolers will be departing from the Tremont Shul at 10:30 AM and leave the Fells around 3:30 PM.
