After 21 years as a leader of Rabbis For Human Rights, Arik Ascherman co-founded a new interfaith Israeli human rights organization, “Haqel (The Field) – Jews and Arabs in Defense of Human Rights.”

Hear his eyewitness account of the tragedy leaving two dead in the Israeli Bedouin village of Umm Al HIran, the struggle to save Palestinian Susya, the impact of the Trump presidency on human rights in Israel, and what you can do to make a difference.

Rabbi Ascherman will also address the challenges and the opportunity in bringing Jewish, Muslim and Christian religious leaders together to advocate for human rights.

All are welcome. There is no cost, but donations will be solicited to support the work of Haqel.
