Vilna Shul partners with Boston Choral Ensemble to present the area debut of “Annelies,” composed by James Whitbourn. This full-length choral work is based on “The Diary of Anne Frank,” with a libretto by Melanie Challenger, and brings to life her words in a “beautiful and restrained treatment.”

The Friday evening performance will incorporate some Shabbat ritual.

A complimentary guided tour of the Vilna and its history will run approximately 45 minutes before the start of the program.
