Temple Beth Avodah and the Newton Human Rights Commission were inspired to create a panel of individuals to consider the complex dimensions of antisemitism. Rabbi Ron Fish is from the ADL. David Rhodes is from Facing History & Ourselves. Brady Epstein is a senior at Newton South High School, and Rabbi Keith Stern is from Temple Beth Avodah. We will discuss our perceptions of antisemitism right now, locally and nationally. We will tackle these questions:
- What’s the status of antisemitism in the Greater Boston area?
- Why do you think this is happening right now? Is it aberrational or a deeper reflection of American culture?
- How does it make you feel?
- How worried should we be?
- What can we do?
This event is open to the entire community. Please share with your friends and neighbors. In-person attendance is highly encouraged, but if you aren’t able to join in person, you may watch online.
